About Our Dance Floor The Academy Ballroom dance floor is a bit over 45' x 68' (over 3100 sq.ft.) of open span
space with seating on 3 sides (and LOTS of mirrors). The blond maple hardwood is panel construction (with built
in "spring") from
American
Portable Dance Floors -- the same flooring used by the Ohio Star Ball and many other
top competitions. Regulation size for championship level competition is 40' x 60',
so with our floor you can
practice your smooth or standard with room to spare.
